The Class of 2009

Induction night was wonderful. Each inductee and our escorts rode over from the hotel to the Bijou Theatre in a huge limo (you'll see in the video below).

My Dad seemed a bit overwhelmed by the whole thing. It was really fun to go over with everyone. We are all so different yet we were and are so passionate about the “game.”

When my Dad walked me to the stage, I had to really focus and take deep breaths to have the courage to get up on the stage. He was so cute!!!

Vern Glenn of Channel 4 in San Francisco followed me during the weekend for a documentary. Above is his video of my acceptance speech.

Elegant, selfless speech - true beauty... as is the women's game. The people and the love this game has given you is because of what you have given this game! All the years you have honored it, inspired young girls, and played with class and character - you have helped pave that road yourself! Thank you and Congratulations!

Jenn,

I love you! I loved watching you at Stanford and you are one of the best all around people out there. I think you should consider coaching at Stanford, think of all those wonderful HS recruits that would see you and man would Stanford be loaded with you on the sideline.
GO JEN

Amazing! Watching this and knowing you literally as "the girl next door", I am beyond happy for you. I sent this link to my daughters, knowing that it will be inspirational and help them see that anything is possible. You really inspire all of us, not just because of your accomplishments but because of the incredible person that you are! THANK YOU!!

Jennifer,
I was lucky enough to be at the Bijou for the induction ceremony. I was overwhelmed by the emotion even as a spectator. I found you speech extremely touching and giving. I loved the recognition for the other inductees and for the history of the game. I have always been a fan, but now I am an even bigger fan.
